The Raiders put on quite the performance last Friday in their crossover game vs Montgomery County. The team got out to an early lead and never looked back grabbing the victory 41-0. For the offense, Spencer Robicheaux was on fire from the start helping the Raiders grab that early lead. Marquell Brown emerged as an early weapon for Robicheaux getting in the end-zone for the Raiders on their first 2 drives. Robicheaux was 10-21 passing for 205 yards and 4 TDS while rushing for 57 yards on 4 carries. Brown had 192 all-purpose yards and 3 TDS. The defense was instrumental in the big win for the Raiders as they not only held Montgomery County to a shutout but also forced 8 turnovers along the way. Chase Beard led the defense with 13 tackles while Mike Vidan also brought in 11 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and an interception. The Raiders will now begin a state playoff run with a home game against Calvary this Friday at 7:30 p.m. in a rematch from a closely contested regular season rivalry game.
