SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah Christian Preparatory School is pleased to share the recent addition of Mr. Daniel Wedding as the Strength and Conditioning Coach. Mr. Wedding has a master’s degree in Sports Management from East Tennessee State University, where he also served the football team as a strength and conditioning assistant. He holds a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification from United States American Weightlifting and is a Certified Strength and Condition Specialist with National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2022, he received the National High School Strength Coaches Association Coach of the Year for the state of Ohio. Mr. Wedding shared, “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to develop kids physically, mentally, and spiritually in an environment that strives to compete at the highest level of everything!” 

Head Football Coach Baker Woodward looks forward to Mr. Wedding joining the SCPS staff and the competitive edge he brings to SCPS. “He has a servant's heart and is very passionate about developing the whole person to the glory of God. Hiring a certified strength coach of this caliber will set our athletic department at SCPS apart from other schools in the area that have not yet invested in their strength department.”
